Providing Conductive Education sessions across the North East

My name is Rachel and I have been working in the field of Conductive Education for over 10 years.

I am based in Durham but deliver private Conductive Education sessions either in your home or at your child's school across the North East.

I have experience working with a wide range of children with additional needs, including Cerebral Palsy,  Down syndrome,  Autism and Dyspraxia.

What is Conductive Education

Conductive Education (CE) is all about potential and the person as a whole. It's a holistic learning approach that combines psychology and education to facilitate learning. It was initially designed for children with neurological motor disorders such as Cerebral Palsy but has since expanded to support a wide range of children, including those with Dyspraxia and Down Syndrome.

CE is about active learning, and in sessions, children participate in a range of tasks and programmes devised according to their age and ability. They not only work on their gross and fine motor skills but also on educational goals and play skills.
